RESTOCKING your makeup supply can be an expensive venture but Dollar Tree has some hidden gems which may help.
A beauty fan revealed her tricks for finding name-brand products on a budget.
In her video, Kim (@dollartreedollie) showed her followers how to spot brands such as Rimmel, Maybelline, and CoverGirl from a mile away.
The self-described "Dollar Tree addict" joked that she didn't want to gatekeep the information from her audience.
For her first find, the Instagrammer purchased the $4.59 Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer from Maybelline for just $1.25.
A variety of the makeup brand's glosses were available at the store for a discounted rate.
Kim also found a $5 Rimmel London Stay Matte Concealer for just $1.25.
Finally, she showed her viewers the $5 CoverGirl Cheekers Blendable Powder Blush, which was also priced at $1.25.
Kim explained how she was able to easily spot the items among the Dollar Tree brand makeup.
She revealed that the holographic pink packaging often contains name-brand products.
Both the Maybelline and CoverGirl items that she purchased were in this bright wrapping.
Kim also shared that the plain black-and-white packaging also represents name-brands.
The concealer from Rimmel London was packaged with an all-white cardboard back.
While the brand names aren't advertised on the packaging, simple product descriptions were printed on them.
Her followers shared their thoughts on the beauty finds in the comments section.
"I have been following this tip! Thank you!!" wrote one impressed viewer.
"Yep! ALWAYS look! I found Glow makeup this way last year," said another Instagram user.
"Whoa!! Never even realized that!!" commented a third Dollar Tree shopper.
