A WOMAN with keen attention to detail has shared a storage hack that makeup fans would love.
Using Dollar Tree items, she created a useful tool that organizes her budget-friendly beauty products.
Jen Watson (@organizedandsimplified4u) loves "transforming spaces and improving lives," according to her Instagram bio.
She shares helpful cleaning hacks as well as organizational tips.
The mom of five took viewers on a trip to her local Dollar Tree to pick up the items necessary to create a makeup storage item.
She laid out the process step-by-step in an Instagram Reel which consisted of four metal napkin holders, a metal paper towel holder, nylon cable ties, and chopping mats.
"Definitely genius!!!" a viewer commented under the video.
The best part is that each individual item costs $1.25, so it costs less than $10 total.
The DIY makeup storage project is so easy to do with the right materials.
She first cut the circular chopping mats in half and hot-glued them to the bottom of each half-moon-shaped napkin holder.
Jen then zip-tied four napkin holders to the standing metal paper towel holder.
There were two at the top and two at the bottom to create the illusion of a level tier.
Lastly, she showed how heavy-duty it was and how much weight it could support by filling it up with tons of cosmetics from affordable brands like Elf and higher-end ones like Fenty.
The top layer held lip products, primer, and mascara, while the bottom level carried concealer, foundation, and other beauty buys that acted as a base layer.
It's a great addition to any home to maximize space.
