‘Shouldn’t be allowed to do this’ people fume as shopper clears shelves of reduced buys in Tesco to sell them for profit

A MAN has left people fuming after he cleared the shelves of discounted buys in Tesco to sell them on for profit.

The young man named Sam is an Amazon FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) seller and often hunts for discounted buys to then ship to Amazon in exchange for cash.

But Sam’s recent shopping trip to Tesco left many people totally fuming - as many described him as ‘selfish’ for clearing the shelves.

Posting on social media, Sam beamed as he showed off his “easy pan profits.”

As he spotted the ‘reduced to clear’ Ken Hom carbon steel woks, he nabbed a trolley load and said: “Bosh. Looted the whole lot. £7 profit each, same with the big pans.

“How many’s there? 20 or 30. That’s a lot of profit there.”

He then spotted another reduced item that would earn him profit, as he added: “These [bamboo steamer] are £8 profit I believe. Lovely, loads of them.”

Following this, the re-seller claimed: “She wasn’t even finished putting the labels on, I just saw them, couldn’t believe my eyes. took them all.

“That’s what you call good timing I guess.”

Sam then explained how Amazon FBA works, as he claimed: “It costs £10 to ship all of that. Or you can schedule a free collection - they’ll come and take them off your hands.

“It's as easy as that. Send them to Amazon and customers will go and buy them and I’ll make my money.”

Sam explained that he will make around £200 profit for the Tesco buys, as he concluded: “Not bad - just went into Tesco, had a look, looted the lot, cannot complain.

“Back out now, let's find some more products, keep growing this business.”

In another video, Sam explained that he nabbed the pans for just £7 each, but they sell on Amazon for £27.95.

As a result, Sam claimed that by taking away his costs, he would make £7 profit pet item, which he claimed to be “over 100% return on investment”.

He added: “They do sell very well as well, pricing is very consistent on these.”

So selfish. Supermarkets should not allow this

TikTok users

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @samsjourney, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it was shared just 15 hours ago, but has quickly amassed 78,800 views.

But social media users were left fuming at Sam’s clip and many took to the comments to express this.

Whilst many thought it “shouldn't be allowed”, others claimed that supermarkets should “limit the amount” of reduced items customers can buy.

One person said: “Didn’t want one anyways.”

Another added: “Supermarkets should limit the amount you can purchase.”

A third commented: “Shouldn’t be allowed to do this.”

At the same time, another user wrote: “So selfish. Supermarkets should not allow this.”

Meanwhile, someone else asked: “How long would it take for you to get your money back?”
