I’m a mum of 6 & let my kids go to school ‘stinking’ & eat with their hands so no washing up to save time in the morning

WE ALL know that the school morning rush is no joke.

But one mum has admitted to cutting corners to make her life easier and save time.

Constance Hall, a mummy blogger from Australia with four kids and two stepchildren revealed she happily sends them off to school "stinking" as it "won't kill them."

Having so many kids to get ready in the morning - it's understandable why Constance would want to cut corners such as not giving them a shower every day.

The mum said that her four children and two step kids go to school 'smelling' - but it doesn't faze her.

To shave off even more time on busy school mornings, she lets the kids eat with their hands to save her from doing more washing up.

Plus, Constance also blocks the kids out and get some well needed 'me time' by wearing headphones around the house to "block them out."

"They don't have to bath or shower every day." she told Mama Mia.

"They can quite often skip that part of the routine if it's getting everyone down. I'm like, 'Fine, stinky, go to school and gross everyone out'," Constance said.

The mum continued: ""I personally can't be f**ked bathing everyone every night."

Constance explained her reasoning, claiming the American Academy of Dermatology said that youngsters aged between six and 11 only need to bath once or twice a week unless they are dirty, sweaty or have a skin condition.

"I know it makes them look more loveable when they are all clean and smell fresh, but really, skipping a night bath or morning shower a couple of times a week won't kill them," she added.

And that's not the only thing the mum scrimps on to save time.

She often lets her kids eat with their hands off a shared plate.

"Feast with your hands. Dishes are the worst part of dinner. In other cultures everyone eats with their hands off the same plate," she added.

Other parenting advice she recommended for mums was using coloured-coded buckets to "chuck" each child's clothes in.

She also loves having "check-out" time to relax and block out her kid's noises by donning headphones.

She said: "I can't respond to the 400 questions a day by six different kids: the fights over whose turn on the iPad it is, or who ruined what. I just can't. So I block it out."
