BBC weather host doubles over as sign off report goes seriously wrong – leaving co-star in stitches
BBC weather star Bee Tucker was left red-faced after she made an embarrassing blunder live on air.
During her broadcast on the BBC's South West local news programme, Spotlight, Bee admitted she "lost the plot" as she blurted out an area name instead of saying the show's main host's name during her handover.
Having delivered her usual weather bulletin on the lunchtime programme, Bee was ready to pass over to host Natalie Cornah but the end result was left rather clumsy.
As she finished up, she could be heard saying: "Here will stay cold for a few days as well, Channel Islands."
Bee immediately burst into fits of laughter as she realised the error of her ways instantly as she quickly jumped in to say: "Sorry, Natalie."
Rather than saying Natalie's name, she blurted out "Channel Islands" in the hilarious mix-up.

The BBC star could be seen doubled over in hysterics as she held her hand to her mouth in an attempt to mask her laughter as Natalie closed up the broadcast.
Natalie was also left smirking as she attempted not to go off-script as she said: "Thank you very much, that's all for us, we'll be back with Spotlight at 6:30 here on BBC One, bye bye."
She then turned to stare directly at Bee as she also attempted to cover up her laugh at the moment.
Bee went onto re-share the moment online as well as she said: "Actual footage of me losing the plot at lunchtime. I know it’s Natalie presenting, not the Channel Islands."
One fan went on to say to Bee: "This is such joy! Your gift to telly infamy that will keep on giving. Just lovely."
Before someone else added: "I'm now going to finish every conversation with 'OK, Channel Islands'."
As a third sent the star some reassurance as they said: "You are such a star."
