I’m a 19-year-old teen mum & had my daughter at 16 – people make the same assumptions & no, I didn’t drop out of school
LET'S face it - being a mum can be extremely challenging no matter what your age.
But falling pregnant aged 15 comes with its own fair share of challenges - as not only do you need to mature faster but you'll likely find yourself faced with loads of questions from friends, loved ones and strangers.
That's the very situation a woman named Liv found herself in after falling pregnant with her high school boyfriend when she was just 15.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@ourlovelynstory), she begins by discussing "questions I get as a teen mum."
With her adorable daughter sitting in her lap, she begins by answering one of the most popular remarks she's asked: "Did you drop out of school?"
In response, a proud Liv smiles and reveals: "No, I graduated this year."

However, she confirms: "Of course" they were.
She goes on to explain how people also assume she doesn't work because she's got her hands full, but Liv claims she works 5 jobs.
In a second TikTok video she posted a sweet clip of her and her daughter and shares another question that people always ask: "Is that your sister?"
Taking the remark in good spirits, Liv simply responded: "Hahaha."
