I found a Princess Diana-inspired buy in a thrift store for $4.99 – I’ve been manifesting it for years, people say I won
A LUCKY thrifting fan found the crown jewel of clothing for under five bucks.
The frugal fashionista was floored by her Princess Diana-inspired discovery.
"No way I just thrifted the Princess Diana sweater - shut up," said Julia (@julesisthrifty) over a dubbed woman's enthused voice.
Hiding between crowded racks of discounted buys, there it was - one of the most recognizable finds in fashion history.
Julia slowly tugged on the sleeve before the piece came into view.
The red sweater covered in white sheep except for one single black sheep, was indeed the same one worn by Princess Diana when she was just 19 years old and recently engaged to Prince Charles.
Lady Di at the time was photographed in the now famous sweater while wearing it to one of her fiance's polo matches.
The buy was even seen in a previous episode of Netflix's The Crown.
"Been manifesting for years," said the excited thrifter.
The only thing more unbelievable than where she found the sweater was the $4.99 price tag.
This was certainly much less than the $1.1 million the one worn by Princess Diana fetched at Sotheby's, making it the most valuable sweater ever sold at auction.
Another sweater lover faced defeat after hearing Julia's story.
"I paid $135 for it and I thought I got a deal - you won," she surrendered.
"Omg no that low-key was a good deal though," she replied.
One fan had just one question for the successful shopper.
"How does it feel to be god's favorite?" she asked.
"I want this so badly," another viewer shared.
"Manifesting for you," said Julia.
After all, it seemed to work out the first time.
