A PROUD homeowner has vowed never to return to old window-cleaning methods.
She has learned a new hack that brings them up shiny and streak-free.
It was super-quick too, literally taking her just minutes.
Carly (@carlyjadeocean) was delighted and shared the tip with her 17,000 followers on TikTok.
She shares her love of "cleaning and DIY" on her platform.
Her devotion to the task means she has a spotless home.
She was thrilled to discover a new window-cleaning hack.
This young mom has plenty of panes to clean in her house.
“If there is anything to make life easier then I’m going to try it," she said.
“I’m never going back. I love this window cleaning hack," she said in her post.
This hack worked perfectly for another task.
“I have used this method before on my kitchen cupboards," she said.
“But never have I tried it on my windows," she added.
Window cleaning hack
TikTok user Carly cleans her kitchen cupboards with this hack but had never tried it on her windows. Now she knows it works, she will never try anything else. This worked perfectly.
What you will need:
- Dish soap
- Mop and bucket
- Window Vac (she used a Karchar model $60)
Method:
- Clear dust from the window
- Add dish soap to a bucket of hot water
- Use a mop to clean the windows
- Use window vac to finish
Result:
- Streak-free, shiny windows
Once she tried it, Carly admitted to being a convert to this window cleaning method.
“It worked well. I am never going back after doing this," she said.
“It is great for hard-to-reach areas.
“This literally took me minutes to clean one window," she added.
“So with the amount I have, I am definitely going to be doing this going forward," she said.
“I used my Karcher afterward to soak away the suds and it honestly leaves it streak-free and shiny."
Commenters were impressed enough to give it a go.
