Anton’s ego stops him from finding love – I don’t believe the act he’s put on for Love Island All Stars, says ex Belle

ANTON Danyluk's ex Belle Hassan says his ego stops him from finding love.

The pair had an on/off relationship after leaving the villa in 2019 - and now he's back for a second stint.

But the unlucky-in-love All Stars cast member has struggled to connect romantically in the villa this time around.

Last night viewers saw him share an awkward kiss with Georgia Harrison as they squirted mint spray into each other's mouths before snogging.

Georgia later admitted to the girls, it didn't make her feel like there was a spark.

Speaking exclusively to our Love Island podcast Cracking On with The Sun, Belle said: "I wasn't surprised to see his name in the line-up when I heard there was an All Stars. I knew he'd want to do it.

"I think he's coming across alright. I think he's kind of doing the same thing that he did before.

"He's that kind of like sweet character you feel a little bit sorry for. And you want him to find someone.

"He thinks too much about what he says, so I think that it comes across well but... I don't know if I buy it.

"If you want me to be 100 per cent honest, I don't know if buy the sort of sweet act.

"He is really lovely guy, but the hopeless romantic bit... I'm not sure if I'm sold.

"It makes me think 'do you want to be with someone or did that just work for you the first time and you've kind of gone with that role again?'"

"Do you want to be with someone, or did that work for you the first time, and you've kind of gone with that role again?"

Pushed on her reason behind why she doesn't think Anton's search for a serious relationship is genuine, Belle said: "Obviously, I don't know but judging by the comments and the things that have come out.

"I think he was with someone and then they split up whenever they split up, and he's gone into All Stars seemingly not long afterwards.

"So I'm like, 'are you going to have a relationship that soon after coming out of one?'

"I don't know, listen, I haven't spoken to him in God knows how long so he actually might be thinking 'I'm out of one relationship, I'm ready to move on to the next and find The One, but do I see any of them 100 per cent looking for that love connection? Probably not.

"They've all met each other, right, and this is one of the reasons why I didn't want to do it because if it was going to happen it would have already happened."
