I’m A Celeb in backstage row as Nigel Farage’s pals accuse ITV of giving ‘preferential treatment’ to Nella Rose
NIGEL Farage’s friends have grumbled that some celebrities appear to be getting “preferential treatment” after it was revealed that Nella Rose had received a pep talk from staff.
The Sun told how producers had intervened to remind Nella, 26, to enjoy herself rather than continually being caught up in conflict.
Fans have watched as she called out the former UKIP leader, 59, over immigration and cultural appropriation - but now appears to have softened.
The politician’s pals have flagged concerns over the behind-the-scenes support.
A friend of Nigel told the Sun: “It was obvious to everyone that Nella had a sudden personality transplant almost overnight.
“Nigel is just being his authentic self whilst reports now suggest some contestants are being advised by the production team.

“We are watching this very closely as we believe it breaks ITV’s own rules - how many other celebrities are getting preferential treatment?”
It comes after The Sun told how crew had provided welfare support to Nella over the rows, which also included a verbal wrangling with Fred Sirieix in what has now become known as ‘dad-gate’.
Our source said: “Nella is feisty and fun – but butting heads means she’s been having a tough time.
“Producers have spoken to Nella and reminded her to enjoy the experience and keep having a laugh.
“Life in camp can be gruelling and sometimes the stars forget that it is meant to be fun too.
“Nella is hilarious and brings a totally new dimension to the camp and producers want to see more of that side of her.
“The producers check in with the campmates every day to check on their wellbeing and they hope this chat with Nella will help change her experience.”
Responding to claims that producers are advising campmates, a show spokesperson said: "This is not true.”
