I got rid of condensation in moments thanks to a 70p hack – it works like a dream, you don’t have to turn on the heating
IT’S THAT TIME of year again when condensation takes over the entire house and you’re left wiping the windows down every day.
But luckily, one savvy man has discovered a simple hack to save you the time and energy it takes to remove the water yourself.
Taking to social media, Barney shared a short video demonstrating how he keeps the condensation at bay during the winter months.
“Say no to winter condensation please by placing a cat litter tray on your window sill,” he said.
Panning the camera across the window sill, viewers could see a purple tray filled with the litter.
He explained that the litter “totally absorbs” all of the condensation from the glass “in a matter of moments”.

“And your cat will be much happier to be able to see out, there will be no condensation and your windows will be much happier please,” he added.
In the caption, he wrote: “Rid your windows of nuisance condensation using catlitter”.
Luckily, you can find cat litter for as little as 70p online, making it a very cheap alternative to buying a dehumidifier.
TikTok user @barneyplease went on to share further details in the comments section as he wrote: “place a lightbulb in tray and it stops cats using it for personal reasons please.
“It works like a dream please.
“it's a great hack if you don't want to turn on the heat or open the windows please”.
And people were quick to comment as one person replied: “oh i desperately need this, thank you please”.
