Death in Paradise’s return date finally revealed by BBC after mass outcry from fans
DEATH in Paradise's return date has finally been revealed.
In June last year, the 13th season of Death in Paradise was in the works.
Actor, Ralf Little, 44 who plays DI Neville Parker in the popular BBC crime drama shared a major update back then about the new series.
But now fans of the hit detective series, can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the BBC has revealed the show's highly anticipated return date.
After an overwhelming outcry from viewers, the broadcaster has listened and responded.
The tropical crime-solving escapades will be back on our screens on February, 4.

The new season of the show begins with the series' milestone 100th episode, a celebration of Commissioner Selwyn Patterson's 50 years of service before he is shot by a mysterious assassin.
Fans will see the return of Ralf Little as DI Neville Parker, Don Warrington as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson, Shantol Jackson as DS Naomi Thomas, Tahj Miles as Officer Marlon Pryce, Ginny Holder as Trainee Officer Darlene Curtis, and Élizabeth Bourgine as Catherine Bordey.
They'll be diving back into the joys and challenges of island life, tackling a fresh set of clever cases.
The landmark episode also features an array of talented guest stars, including Sean Maguire (The 100) – who becomes the first guest to reprise their role since appearing in the first ever episode in 2011 - alongside Leon Herbert (Outlander), Cathy Tyson (Boiling Point) and Mensah Bediako (Andor).
The series will feature a host of sizzling guest stars, including some familiar soap stars to its sandy shores - Academy Award-winning Hayley Mills (Unforgotten), Gabrielle Glaister (Coronation Street), Guy Henry (Holby City), Rachel Adedeji (Hollyoaks).
Elsewhere, across the rest of the series, Marlon confronts his future.
Naomi lets loose to double date with Darlene, and Catherine finds herself embroiled in a murder case when an old friend becomes a suspect.
There’s also a deadly game of bingo, a poisoning at a cookery competition, death during a blackout, and a mystifying murder in a lift.
The previous series was hugely dramatic, especially with Neville discovering his girlfriend Sophie wasn't quite what she seemed to be.
It was left with Neville trying to get over Florence, and now he's on a mission to leave Sophie behind and move on.
Back in June, Ralf, gave fans an update on filming and revealed how "great" the upcoming season will be.
The actor took to Instagram for a live Q&A to answer fans' pressing questions about the series.
He started off by sharing that the cast were "halfway through" episode one, and they've got the "Christmas special in the bag."

Ralf continued: "We are halfway through episode one and I think it's going to be very good, I told you the Christmas special is done and dusted and I think that is going to be a pretty good one as well."
The BBC star promised viewers that season 13 will be "special" since the production crew went "above and beyond" to make it so.
