I work in a nursery & there’s a type of parent we totally hate – you make our job way more annoying than it should be

LET'S face it, we all have our own pet peeves when it comes to our jobs - and a little rant always makes things feel a bit better.

And it turns out nursery workers are no different, with one childcare educator revealing the seven things she dislikes most about her job.

But be warned - there's a type of parent that annoys them the most...so, are you guilty?

In a clip posted to TikTok (@childcare_worker4), she says: "Things I hate as a childcare educator."

The nursery worker then begins with the item of clothing she wishes she could ban from kid's wardrobes - dungarees.

Reeling off her first dislike, she notes: "Children coming in wearing dungarees or overalls - it's so hard to change nappies."

Sticking with the topic of clothing, she also wishes there was a certain type of footwear that parents would steer clear of.

"High top shoes are so hard to get on their feet," she warns.

And with the average nursery class accepting up to 30 kids, it can be tricky if they all bring in the same item.

That's why the childcare worker points out she finds it annoying that that "everyone has the same bottle."

It's normal for parents to worry about their children, but according to the nursery worker, there's one that takes the biscuit.

"That one parent who calls six times in one day," she says.

I'm a nursery worker and there are 5 things parents do that I hate and don't dress your toddler in Converse for starters

Not stopping there, she also can't stand children bringing in toys from home - adding it just "causes arguments between children" - and says it's frustrating when "children never have spare clothes in their bag."

And last but not least, the childcare worker also can't stand when "children come in with designer and branded clothes that can't get dirty."

She captioned the post: "Most annoying things about the job."

The video has since gone viral, garnering a whopping 337k views and several comments from other nursery workers who were all keen to share their own pet peeves.

"We had a baby lose a sock and the mum would not let it go for 2 weeks she was asking about the sock," wrote one.

A second suggested: "The 2-3 year olds that still wear the bonds onesies.."

"The ones with no bag and end up getting covered in everything under the sun," a third commented.

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "We have a no toys from home policy…AND THEY STILL BRING TOYS FROM HOME."

Another added: "The parents calling bc their kid is missing a straw to their water bottle or they’re missing a sock or a home toy."

And one more chimed in: "I had a child wear £10k necklace lets just say we literally held that child all day till we saw their parents to say something."
