If your office wear could do with an update though, shoppers have found a stunning shirt dress on the high street – and claim it’s better than M&S.
For those of us that work in an office, a shirt dress is a staple piece.
Ease to throw on with a pair of heels or even trainers, it is the perfect go to outfit especially if you are struggling to get up in time for your commute.
Often these dresses will come with a belt, giving wearers a chic, classic look which is perfect for office attire.
It’s no wonder then that some many brands have a version of these dresses in their stores but sadly, they can come with a hefty price tag.

Thankfully, eagled eyed shoppers have found a stunning alternative on the high street and it’s already on sale.
If you’ve not been into New Look recently, you might want to pop in store as the fast fashion brand have a stunning black shirt dress – for less than £20.
Made from lightweight polyester, the dress is midi length and an A-Line skirt meaning it will flatter your frame as you race to the office.
Available in sizes 6 to 22, the stunning dress so comes with waist belt and has loops for if you’d prefer to add your own.
With a large collar, pocket detail and delicate gold buttons, the dress will be perfect as we transition into spring and summer.
It’s no wonder then that shoppers have been raving about the New Look item, with it gaining an impressive 4.6 rating online.
One reviewer even revealed that she’d received multiple compliments on the dress, writing: “Love this dress. Will be getting plenty of wear. Have had lots of compliments. Wear with boots, heels or flats. So comfy and warm."
Another added: "My new favourite dress! Incredibly flattering and well-fitting. Gorgeous with boots or sandals.”
