No way’ Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre committed suicide, Epstein victim’s dad Sky Roberts tells Piers Morgan
VIRGINIA Giuffre's dad has said that there is "no way" his daughter took her own life.
Sky Roberts told Piers Morgan that he "couldn't believe" his daughter - who was a victim of infamous Jeffrey Epstein - had died by suicide.
The mourning dad said: "There's no way she did that. Somebody got to her."
Giuffre died at her home in Neergabby, Western Australia, on April 25, after years of torment.
Her family confirmed her death and said she had been a "lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking".
Roberts said in an interview: “Well, first of all, I couldn't even believe it. I mean, I started crying right away.
"I'm still crying. I can't believe that this is happening. It just, it's impossible."
Roberts said he wanted his daughter to be remembered as someone who "got out of a bad situation and made a good situation out of it".
He added that she was "helping a lot of other young girls that were feeling the pain of what goes on with people like that".
"I think she's strong, very strong, and that's why I don't think she committed suicide," he emphasised.
"She had too much to live for. She had her foundation."
The bombshell interview comes after Giuffre's sudden death in April which left open a Pandora's Box of unanswered questions.
The most prominent victim of notorious Epstein was found dead by police before her family revealing she had died by suicide.
She accused disgraced financier Epstein, who died by suicide in prison in 2019, and Ghislaine Maxwell of abuse.
She long alleged that they groomed and trafficked her to Prince Andrew when she was 17, claims which the Duke of York has strongly denied.
Since reaching a multi-million pound out-of-court settlement with Andrew in 2022, Virginia largely stayed out of the public eye, living with her family in a Perth suburb.
That was, however, until a dramatic post she made on Instagram last month showed her badly bruised and in hospital, though confusion then ensued over whether the injuries had been caused by a car crash as she claimed.
Her courage speaking out inspired countless victims of abuse to speak out against their tormentors.
But many aspects of Virginia’s life remain clouded in mystery - from the truth about her alleged interactions with Andrew, to what actually caused her injuries, and the circumstances around her death.
