KING Charles was seen for first time after the Palace revealed he faces prostate treatment in just a few days.
The King, 75, sought treatment for an enlarged prostate and will be admitted to hospital next week for surgery.
Charles was spotted leaving his private home Birkhall in Aberdeenshire in the back seat of an Audi with Queen Camilla.
It comes as the Princess of Wales was also admitted to hospital for surgery for an abdominal issue with Kate visited by husband Prince William yesterday at a London hospital.
Camilla, 76, gave an update on the King's condition as she opened a 'Safe Space' at Aberdeen Art Gallery to help people if they suspect someone is living with domestic violence.
Asked by the Lord Provost about the King, Camilla replied: "He's fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work."

His Majesty's condition is "benign" and next week's surgery will be "a corrective procedure".
Buckingham Palace added: "In guidance: His Majesty was keen to share the details of his diagnosis to encourage other men who may be experiencing symptoms to get checked in line with public health advice."
His engagements have been postponed for a short period of recuperation, the statement said.
The King's health shock came just hours after Kensington Palace said the Princess of Wales, 42, had undergone a successful abdominal operation.
Kate's procedure - which was planned and not cancer-linked - took place at The London Clinic in the capital on Tuesday.
A statement said the mum-of-three will remain in hospital for ten to 14 days and is "unlikely" to return to public duties until after Easter.
It is understood that hubby Prince William was by Kate's side on Tuesday and again on Wednesday.
He was spotted driving himself from The London Clinic in his £110,000 electric Audi RS E-tron GT on Thursday.
Kate apologised for postponing her Royal engagements following the surgery.
A statement read: "She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible."
After a "frosty journey" to a snow-nipped Aberdeen, the Queen apologised to the Lord Provost for being "a bit late".
