I’m 5’4″ and tried H&M’s $85 viral holiday dress in medium, I looked like a frumpy Christmas angel, I was so upset

A FASHIONISTA has given her honest review of a popular H&M dress that has been making waves this holiday season.

She was surprised by how much she liked the haul item but how ill-fitting it was on her.

Savannah (@savannah.lena) is a lover of "all things pink and girly," according to her TikTok bio.

In a video, she strayed from her normal color scheme to share her haul of a viral black and white holiday dress from H&M.

From the start of the video, she made it clear that the white Sequined Tie-Back Dress, $85, was a "fail" on her.

"I honestly didn't love how it looked on me," she said.

The popular item was dubbed "the Blair Waldorf dress" as a tribute to the iconic Gossip Girl character.

Savannah had several concerns before trying on the sequin number with a big black bow on the back.

She wasn't sure if she had the right body type for it as a five-foot-four woman.

"I love the dress. I think it's too big though. I think if I got a size down, it would have been chef's kiss," she detailed.

She ordered the cute style in a size medium and admitted she was "so upset" in the caption because she should have gotten a small.

Savannah said she looked a "little frumpy in it," but the length was great.

"I kind of look like one of those Christmas angels," she added.

The brunette woman admitted that she was a little "bummed" that it didn't fit her properly because she loved it for the holidays.

Although the look wasn't a hit for her, she did call it "tall-girl friendly."

Several viewers offered compliments and relatable feedback in the comment section.
