In her video, Cary (@pairswellwithwhine) revealed her five-step method to "never have stinky drains."

"If you’ve ever walked into the bathroom and it smells like death, trust me, it’s your drains," she said.

First, the TikToker recommended removing all the hair clogged in your drain.

"Remove the pop-up, disinfect, scrub, and rinse," she advised her audience.

Next, Cary tackled the inside of the drain, spraying it with disinfectant and leaving it for 10 minutes before scrubbing.

"Put the pop-up back and disinfectant," she told her viewers.

Cary then used dish soap to scrub the porcelain bowl of the sink.

For her final step, she placed her homemade cleaning bomb directly under the faucet.

"Add a powerball and hot water, [you should] do this every three months," she recommended.

Cary's DIY powerball is "a recipe to disinfect and deodorize your drains."

She mixed five cups of baking soda, half a cup of Dawn Refreshing Platinum Liquid Dish Soap, and a quarter cup of Pine-Sol in a large bowl.

Once the ingredients were combined, she rolled the mixture into balls.

"You’re going to start to form balls a little larger than golf balls," she explained in a second clip.

"Once you’re done doing that, you’re going to leave these overnight."

Cary also recommended leaving the tray of powerballs in direct sunlight to set.
