Antony offered reunion

Manchester United flop Antony could be saved from his Old Trafford hell by the man who brought him in the first place. 

According to reports, new Bayer Leverkusen boss Erik ten Hag is considering signing the winger this summer.

Ten Hag was in charge at United when the Brazil international arrived for £86m in 2022 after their previous stint together at Ajax.

But the 25-year-old's time in Manchester has been nothing short of a disaster as he even admitted he went days without eating it got so bad.

Man Utd are understood to prefer a permanent sale for Antony if an exit is sanctioned.

According to Sky Sports, Leverkusen could offer a viable option for the Brazilian to finally call a permanent end to his time at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Bundesliga giants are thought to have shortlisted Antony as one of a number of forwards they are keen on should Florian Wirtz leave for Liverpool this summer.

Bayern move for flop?

Bayern Munich could swoop for Man Utd flop Antony, claim German outlet Sport1.

The Brazilian is due to back at Old Trafford following his loan spell at Real Betis.

Antony has been linked with an Erik ten Hag reunion at Bayer Leverkusen.

But Sport1 reckon that Bayern Munich could make a move, claiming that the German giants have between £40m and £60m in their transfer kitty.

Wingers on the move

United want to flog Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony this summer.

The trio are all returning from loan moves, having failed to agree permanent moves away.

In addition to this trio, the Red Devils also want to get rid of Alejandro Garnacho.

The wide man was dropped for United's last Prem game of the season by boss Ruben Amorim.

Man Utd striker chase

Manchester United will still want to sign a striker even if they get Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

The Red Devils are keen to sew up a deal for the Brentford ace, following the £62.5m arrival of Wolves star Matheus Cunha.

Per Sky Sports, Ruben Amorim's side will still be in the market for a No9, with both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee having struggled.

Devils for Jesus

Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign Real Betis prospect Jesus Rodriguez.

The attacker, 19, has a release clause worth £29.5million.

MEN have reported that the Red Devils will face competition from German outfit Red Bull Leipzig.

However, Ruben Amorim's side will hold an advantage as they could use Antony as a sweetener in a deal.

Gomes to reject PL

Angel Gomes is reportedly set to reject a return to the Premier League.

The former Manchester United prospect has established himself in world football after leaving England.

After excelling in Portugal, he moved to France with Lille and earned his first England caps.

After leaving Lille at the end of his contract he was linked with West Ham and Tottenham.

However, reports in France claim he is set to stay in Ligue and join Marseille.

Boniface move?

Victor Boniface could be on the move this summer, according to reports.

The Nigerian striker has previously been linked with the likes of Chelsea, West Ham and Newcastle in the past.

Boniface was thought to be moving to Saudi in January before his move collapsed.

Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Bayer Leverkusen could part ways with the forward if a good proposal arrives.

Manchester United could make a move for Boniface as an alternative option to Viktor Gyokeres.

United urged to sell Bruno

Manchester United have been urged to sell captain Bruno Fernandes this summer.

Emilie Heskey told Poker Scout: "If I was Manchester United – I would take that type of money being talked about for Bruno Fernandes.

"I know it’s come out that he has rejected the move to Saudi Arabia, but that fee would be tough to reject for them.

"That would allow them to fully buy in and build around the style that Ruben Amorim wants.

"They have a large sum of money to then choose players that fit the direction the club wants to go in.

"I’m not sure if Amorim wants to build the team around Bruno."

Osimhen boost

Manchester United have been handed a major boost in their hopes of signing Viktor Osimhen.

The Nigerian striker was tipped with a move to Saudi outfit Al-Hilal.

However, it has been claimed that the club has left the race to sign him due to his cost being too high.

The Red Devils could now step in to sign the prolific forward but will have to negotiate his near HALF-A-MILLION weekly wage demands.

Mateta could make 'impact'

Gary Pallister has also insisted that Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta could be a good signing for Manchester United.

The club legend believes that the Frenchman would make an "impact" at Old Trafford.

He told Compare.bet: "Jean Philippe Mateta is an exciting player, he’s a threat.

"Manchester United have Alejandro Garnacho and Amad as attacking threats, it looks like Marcus Rashford might leave the club.

"Mateta is one of those players that is really enjoying his football, he gets the crowd excited and is a player I think could have a big impact at Old Trafford."

United aren't 'alluring'

Former Manchester United star Gary Pallister has claimed that the club does not have the same pull that is used to.

The comments come after the club missed out on the signing of striker Liam Delap.

Pallister told Compare.bet: "Liam Delap is still young, he is a prospect, but Manchester United need something more ready-made in the Premier League.

"I would have liked to have seen him at Old Trafford, but he is still a name for the future and not yet ready to lead the line for a team like United.

"He’s decided on Chelsea and United have to accept that at the moment the club is not as alluring as it once was given there is no Champions League football, finishing fifth bottom in the Premier League, we are now relying on the name alone to attract players."

Gyokeres boost

Manchester United have been handed a boost in their hopes of signing Viktor Gyokeres.

talkSPORT have claimed that Sporting Lisbon are demanding £60million for the striker.

This fee is less than his £85m release clause.

The report has also claimed that the Swede is open to the idea of moving to Old Trafford.

Eriksen in shock move

Christian Eriksen has been linked with a shock move following his exit from Manchester United.

The Denmark star has reported interest from Championship outfit Wrexham.

The Hollywood-owned club would be able to sign the midfielder as a free agent.
