My garden was an overgrown mess – so I transformed the wasted space into an epic area for the kids using Costco play set
WITH summer fast approaching, it won't be long until your kids will be enjoying the warmer weather and playing in the great outdoors.
So it's little surprise one savvy mum has been flooded with praise after transforming the wasted space at the bottom of your garden into an epic area for her daughter.
In a clip shared to TikTok, Emily explained how the garden was a "mess" and "completely overgrown" when she and her partner first moved into their home.
However, she noted that at the end was "quite a large area" which she knew they'd use eventually, but they just didn't know what for.
The DIY whizz then shared a snap of the "wasted" space at the end of her garden and told how they "wanted to make the best use" of it.
Then when her daughter Ella came along, she said they instantly knew they wanted to transform it into a kids area.

Sharing a photo of the unrecognisable transformation, the stunning new play area features a gravel ground complete with slide and swing set.
And for any parents dreading taking their little ones to a jam-packed park over the summer months, it's the perfect solution.
So, for anyone looking to follow in Emily's footsteps, then you may just want to take note...because she's revealed exactly how she achieved the finished result.
"We used sleepers to section the grass and laid a weed membrane down before securing the play frame," she explained.
"We then poured over one tonnes of rubber chippings."
Emily went on to offer a rough breakdown of exactly what she paid, which included a £300 play set from Costco, £150 sleepers, rubber chippings which set her back £100 and £50 on weed membrane.
Addressing her social media users, the mum-of-one asked: "What do you think?"
And she wasn't short of answers, with many quick to congratulate her on the very impressive garden makeover.
"We did the same - best decision ever park to ourselves now," wrote one.
A second who was keen to replicate the idea in her own home asked: "How much was the climbing frame?"
Emily noted: "£300 from Costco! We bought it in the winter so it was on offer!"
