Having secured itself the title of the UK's biggest new drama launch of 2023, it is no surprise that actors are jumping at the bit to appear in the Christmas special.
Fans can expect a treat when the residents of Shipton Abbot are left puzzled by a series of bizarre burglaries.
An unexpected discovery along the way leads the team to question the true meaning of Christmas.
Elsewhere, Kelby is forced to babysit a cheeky young shoplifter whilst a debate arises around whether or not the local police station should remain open and running.

Plus, viewers can expect all the festive cheer that is mandatory with a Christmas special as Santa's grotto will be at the heart of the show.
The festive special episode of the hit BBC series, itself a spin-off of mega hit Death in Paradise, will feature a number of big names.
Speaking about the filming a Christmas special, the show's regular leading man Kris Marshall said: "It’s a great honour to be granted a Christmas special for what was, this year, a new show.
"I really feel privileged — as I think we all do — because usually it takes two or three series to bed in and to be granted a Christmas special.
"To get that at the end of our first series was a real boon for us."
Unlike its parent show Death in Paradise, which is set overseas in the Caribbean, Beyond Paradise remains on British shores, filmed in and around Devon and Cornwall.

James Fleet
The Vicar of Dibley star James Fleet will be joining the cast of the much-loved show this festive season.
Sheila Reid
Benidorm favourite Sheila Reid will be co-starring alongside James in the yuletide edition of the show.
Kris Marshall & Sally Bretton
Kris Marshall returns in his usual role as Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman, and will no doubt be at the epicentre of uncovering the culprit in the string of Christmas burglaries.
Sally Bretton also stars as Martha Lloyd — DI Goodman's old friend and ongoing love interest.
