A live-action trailer titled “Black Ops 6: The Truth Lies” will premiere at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm UK, but fans have seen a sneak peek of what’s to come.

Firstly, Android and iOS users with the Xbox Game Pass app were notified that Black Ops 6 would release on Game Pass later this year.

However, the thumbnail for the teaser trailer has also revealed some secrets about the upcoming game.

The thumbnail features the name Call of Duty Black Ops 6 in the top right corner, and the logo with the slogan “The Truth Lies” in the bottom left corner.

More in Call of Duty

In the middle is a picture that looks a lot like Saddam Hussein, former president of Iraq.

Hussein was captured by the American army during the Iraq War for ‘crimes against humanity’, and hanged in 2006.

Black Ops 6 will supposedly take a more historical approach than previous entries, basing it on the real Iraq War rather than a fictional story.

This means that real-life situations from Hussein’s life will be portrayed in the game, making it one of the most recent historical events portrayed in a Call of Duty game.

We’ll find out more about what will feature in the game during the teaser trailer later today.

There will also be a longer showcase directly after the Xbox showcase premiering on June 9.
