SERIAL killer Stephen Reid was mowed over by Peter Barlow's car as he was trying to escape the cobbles.
But next week, Coronation Street favourite Jenny Connor finds out that he kept more secrets than anybody ever really knew.
The former pub landlady portrayed by Sally Ann Matthews was once romantically involved with Stephen Reid and her blood ran cold when she realised who he really was.
As mentioned above, Stephen's downfall was brutal and sent shockwaves throughout the cobbles - and it particularly devastated his mother Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).
The hairdresser mourns for her son next week on ITV but she also shows his belongings to Jenny, asking her if there's anything she'd like to keep for herself.
Jenny takes Stephen's laptop, explaining that she used to borrow it from time to time.

Meanwhile, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) suggests she should throw Stephen’s diary in the bin as she’ll find it upsetting.
However, Audrey won’t hear of it, adamant that her precious Stephen wasn’t all bad.
In later scenes, Jenny finds out that her former stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and her fiancé Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) are planning to buy the Rovers, which she was desperate to save.
Unfortunately, Jenny’s excitement over Daisy buying the pub is cut short when Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) points out she will have to take orders from her.
Later, Jenny logs onto Stephen’s laptop looking for her list of suppliers and her search leads her to an unexpected discovery.
Jenny searches the files on Stephen’s laptop and finds the last one he edited on the day he died, entitled ‘Infinity Seagull Ventures’.
She and Carla Connor (Alison King) head to the police station but DS Swain explains that they don’t have the resources to try and crack the password on the file.
Audrey then calls in the Kabin clutching a notebook and explains to Carla and Jenny that it’s Stephen’s journal.

Carla and Jenny both realise it could hold the key to Stephen’s passwords.
As viewers will recall, Stephen stole money from the Underworld factory in the hopes of getting a fresh start in Thailand, as his crimes were slowly being unravelled.
Since then, Carla has desperately tried to find a way to save her business but was unable to do so without Stephen's input - which he would have never given her.
Will Jenny's discovery help solve everybody's problems?
