I go days without washing my face… it’s lazy, I know but people are stunned when they find out I’m not actually a teen

A WOMAN who people reckon looks like a teenager has revealed that sometimes she goes days without washing her face.

Beauty lover only known as Indy Windy took to TikTok to spill the beans on her skincare routine after people refused to believe her age, thinking she had to be 19.

According to the stunner, from Las Vegas, the USA, her beauty regimen is relatively simple - and there are days when she doesn't even bother giving her face a simple clean with a splash of water.

Although Indy could see why some had guessed she was in her mid-twenties, the woman was stunned to find out there were many who thought she was 19 or 20.

''Maybe cause I am me, I don't see it from your point of view,'' the TikTok user said in her video after going viral earlier.

Whilst she did have a separate morning and night-time routine, Indy insisted they were both very similar, with the odd extra addition to her skincare regimen before going to sleep.

''Let me preface this buy saying I don't do my skincare every single day - I am a human, I get lazy.''

Rose water

On the occasions when she can't be bothered to do it all, there is one step she will never skip - spraying a bit of organic rose water, which you can purchase from Amazon.

According to the skincare gurus at Nivea, rose water has heaps of benefits, including reducing the appearance of facial redness.

With its antibacterial properties, rose water can balance out your skin's complexion and fight against red and blotchy areas.

Rose water for is also highly effective in treating oily, acne-prone skin.

Surprise, surprise

Although sometimes it's best to stick to what you know works best, Indy advised to ''surprise'' your skin every now and then by using something new - which is why she never uses the same soap all the time.

I’m a dermatologist & my patients are stunned to learn of an annoying sign they’ll age slower and better

According to her, if you keep using the same products without ever switching it up, they will stop working and showing their benefits at some point.

Some of the soaps the stunner - who is 31 - uses include a special sulphur soap, as well as the Shea Moisture Acne Prone African Black soap.

Ditch the wash cloths

In her video, Indy also urged fellow beauty lovers to swap their wash cloths with paper towels.

Although they may look clean, the cloths tend to be full of dirt and dead skin cells - which your face certainly won't appreciate.

Healthy habits to prevent skin ageing

Although a lot of this has to do with your genetics and how much care you take of your skin, there are also a few healthy habits that can make a huge difference.

Use sunscreen to avoid sun damage every day, no matter whether it's sunny or cloudy.

Avoid sunbeds, which have also been linked to skin cancer and premature ageing.

Avoid smoking, vaping and excessive drinking.

Stick to healthy and nourishing foods, such as green leafy veggies and fruit.

Make sure you get a good amount of sleep - roughly eight hours a night.

The area many forget

By now, we should all know how to look after the skin on our face - but our neck, too, needs some TLC.

When walking through your morning and evening skincare routine don't forget to apply the products onto your neck as well - especially SPF to prevent any sun damage.

According to Indy, you should wear sunscreen every day, even when you're not planning on leaving the house.

Apart from not using SPF at night, Indy's been raving about NuDerma High Frequency Wand to tackle any spots and bacteria that might be on any active acne, as well as red light therapy, which helps with blemishes in just four minutes.

The video comes after Indy left social media users gobsmacked with her actual age - 31.

One person couldn't believe their eyes, writing: ''31?????? Dang you look abt [about] 20.''
