YOU would think that fronting five different series on two different channels would be enough for Bradley Walsh – but he is now branching out with a show on Sky.
The presenter, actor, and comic is trying his hand at history with a new documentary series on his favorite subject, Egyptology.
This is on top of his hosting roles for the BBC on Gladiators and Blankety Blank, plus hosting The Chase, Beat The Chasers, and Breaking Dad on ITV.
A TV insider said: “This isn’t necessarily the field of expertise most viewers would imagine him having, but he is obsessed with this chapter of ancient history.
“He’s just thrilled to have bagged a documentary where he gets to indulge the great passion, even if it doesn’t quite fit in with his current line-up of shows.”
Egypt’s Cosmic Code has just started filming and is likely to drop later this year.

The three-part comedy travelogue will follow Bradley as he visits some of the North African country’s most iconic historical landmarks for the first time.
With the help of expert Egyptologists, he hopes to find answers to some of the ancient civilization’s biggest mysteries.
It may also help him tackle some of the theories surrounding its past, which he has his own strong opinions on.
This week on the Official Mile Fly Club podcast, he questioned the official history of Egypt’s pyramids.
He even seemed to suggest that they might have been built by a more technologically advanced race, pointing out that even 21st-century scientists and engineers would struggle.
He said: “We couldn’t do it today, with the technology today.
“Someone built those pyramids, but it wasn’t the Egyptians, and I’m convinced, and that’s what I’m going to find out.”
Surely, he should just enlist the Chasers for some help — they seem to know everything.
Rush is taking it slow
Rising star Lenny Rush looks like he’s bagged himself a plum role on the next series of Wild Horses.
He was spotted filming a scene in Camden, North London, this week with lead star Gary Oldman - who plays Jackson Lamb - by his side.
Lenny shot to fame and won a Bafta for his role in comedy-drama series Am I Being Unreasonable? in 2023 and has been bombarded with work ever since, including starring in Doctor Who.
His part in spy thriller Slow Horses is certainly one of the most prestigious yet, not least because the show, which also stars Jack Lowden and Kristin Scott Thomas, is lauded by both viewers and critics.
Season four dropped last autumn, and Lenny looks to be in the fifth or sixth season, which have both been ordered by Apple TV+.
Not bad for a 15-year-old.
He wrote: “A massive thank you to all of you for your messages of support, kind words about my beautiful mum.
"We, as a family, are very moved and touched by all of them.”
This week I exclusively revealed that Brassic was concluding after the seventh series, which is currently being filmed.
Lead actress Michelle Keegan was keen to point out the Sky show had not been axed, as some news outlets suggested.
Instead, she pointed out: “It’s come to a natural end after six fantastic seasons.”
Lottie: My bore hunt
Lottie Moss has praised Celebrity Bear Hunt – even though she was bored stiff on the show.
The model, half-sister of Kate Moss, says living with no phone and TV in Costa Rica for the Netflix series was “life-changing” and made her “reconnect with myself.”
But she admits, aside from doing challenges and opening up in the “confessions” segments, there wasn’t a lot to do.
Speaking on her Dream On podcast, she said: “I was so bored.
“In the day people would just sleep and one time, I had no one to chat to, no phone, no TV. I went on the beach and was picking up tiny shells and trying to find things from a shipwreck.”

Lottie is joined by stars including Mel B, Shirley Ballas, Boris Becker, and Danny Cipriani in the series, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls, which airs on February 5.
At least she will have got a decent tan.
