Love Island star announces he’s officially split from villa ex – after he was spotted snogging another girl

LOVE Island star Hugo Godfroy has announced that he's officially split from villa ex Jess White.

It comes days after The Sun revealed exclusive snaps of him snogging ex Islander Charlotte Sumner at the boozy National Reality TV Awards after-party on Wednesday night.

Hugo took to his Instagram story to confirm that they are no longer an item.

He said: "Just to let everyone know Jess and I agreed to go our separate ways after the final in Majorca.

"I'm hoping we can still be friends as we had a great experience together, she's a lovely girl and I wish her all the best."

Hugo and Jess got together during the Casa Amor twist of this year's series of the ITV2 show.

They appeared to hit it off immediately, despite Jess' man Trey Norman being back in the main villa.

The pair recoupled at the Casa Amor recoupling ceremony and appeared to be going strong.

Despite Hugo sharing some worries with the boys, they left together in high spirits and returned hand in hand when they voted Jessy Potts and Joey Essex off the show.

They also attended the Love Island final together on Monday night.

Since returning to the UK, Hugo and Jess enjoyed some time together out at glitzy events.

Two weeks ago they shared a loved-up snap while on a boozy night out.

Hugo captioned the post: "Me julieeeeee❤️

"Can finally wear a top that dosent strobe…. If you know you know😎."

Just last week, Jess confirmed the pair were making a go of things as she said: "We're still seeing each other."

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Hugo added: "We're just going at our own pace."

But in recent days their presence on each other's social media accounts went quiet.

Earlier this week Hugo attended the National Reality TV awards without Jess.

The hunk enjoyed a number of smooches with Love Islander Charlotte on the night.

An onlooker told The Sun: "Hugo and Charlotte could not keep their hands off each other all night.

"It was clear that they only had eyes for each other and didn't care who was watching as they enjoyed a slew of snogs on the dancefloor.

"They even found a quiet corner of the packed bar to have another passionate kiss - it made it pretty obvious that Hugo and Jess are very much over but she is still bound to be stunned to see he has moved on so quickly."
