Palestinian state only way to lasting peace for Israeli people, US says – video

US state department spokesperson Matthew Miller has said a two-state solution is the only way to lasting peace for Palestinians and Israelis. Speaking at a press conference, as Washington increases pressure on Israel to accept a settlement with the Palestinians, Miller said a lasting solution was 'not just to answer the legitimate hopes, dreams, aspirations of the Palestinian people, but it is also, and this is critical, the only way to provide lasting security for the Israeli people'.
