Coronation Street’s Will Mellor shares rare snap of wife and kids on soap set after shock return as evil Harvey
ACTOR Will Mellor has shared some family photos of his wife and two children visiting the set of Coronation Street, following his shock return.
The 47 year old has returned to reprise his role as the hell-raising gangster Harvey Gaskel.
Will posed alongside his wife Michelle McSween and their two children, Jayden, 20 and Renee, 16 who looked delighted with their day out on the famous set.
Corrie fans haven’t been terrorised by Harvey since he was last since on screen in December 2022, when he received a brutal beating in prison on his half brother Damon’s orders, after being banged up for the murder of Natasha Blakeman, Little Sam’s mum.
Fans will see intense scenes between Harvey and Damon, which will mostly be filmed from the visitor’s area of the prison.

The drug boss will also form an unlikely alliance from behind bars with Adam, who is seeking his grisly revenge on Damon.
Will, who first strolled into Weatherfield in 2021, said he was very happy to return, because he loves playing the baddie.
He said: ‘"Firstly, I'm glad to be back because I really enjoy playing this character. It's something that straight away when they asked me to play this part, I knew what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to play him very real, a proper baddie, I thought if I'm ever going to be in Coronation Street I’m glad I’m playing a baddie because it's a part I don't get to play a lot.
And Will admitted that the role has taken him out of his comfort zone as an actor.
"I enjoy playing him even though he's a baddie. He has a way about him that I enjoy playing because it's a challenge for me.
I don't get to play many characters like that, he’s probably the most villainous character I’ve ever played.
I knew what I wanted to do with him so when they asked me to come back it was a straight yes."
Will recently won praise for his role as post master Lee Castleton in the ITV drama Mr Bates V The Post Office.
The hit show shed light on the Post office scandal, which saw more than 700 post office works falsely prosecuted based on erroneous data from the firms horizon computer software.
