Man Utd stunned the home support when Alejandro Garnacho smashed in the opener with his left foot after 11 minutes.
You could hear a pin drop when Bruno Fernandes unleashed an outstanding strike seven minutes later which rifled into Muslera's top corner and United were in dreamland.
But Ziyech's free kick goal on 29 minutes halved the deficit - Andre Onana will be disappointed as it goes down the middle of the goal.
United saw out the half well though were lucky the automated VAR picked up on a narrow offside when Icardi went through to score. The linesman's call was a good one.
