The feisty encounter took place at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Etienne, which Moroccan fans filled to the brim.
And just as the game ended with a chaotic equaliser - the Moroccan faithful took the drama to the next level.

In a viral clip, Manchester City star Julian Alvarez can be seen ducking and hiding to avoid being hit by the flying objects.
Moroccan fans then began storming the pitch after allegedly throwing noise bombs before the final whistle - which blew early.
Riot police then entered the field to prevent the drama from escalating.
Earlier on in the second half, the game was paused due to a pitch invader, but it was a young child looking for a selfie with Alvarez, who obliged.
