Celebrity Big Brother 2025 UPDATES: First eviction rocks CBB house tonight as Mickey Rourke faces the chop

  • Confused fans accidentally vote for their least favourite

As voting lines opened, Celebrity Big Brother fans accidentally voted to save their least favourite housemates.

Unlike civilian Big Brother, which aired last autumn, which is vote to evict, the celeb version is vote to save.

Confused fans at home accidentally used their five free app votes to save the very people they wanted to be axed from the spy house.

Taking to social media, one fan said: "Did anyone else accidentally just vote to evict instead of save?"

A second wrote: "Well that was a wasted #CBBUK vote, thought it was to evict not save."

"Didn’t realise it was vote to save and gave 5 votes to Mickey," said a third furious fan.

  • First week nomination results

Chris Hughes and Daley Thompson were immune - while Mickey Rourke was already put up for eviction by JoJo Siwa's killer nomination.

    • Angelica Bell nominated Michael and Jack
    • Jack P. Shepherd nominated Danny and Donna
    • Michael Fabricant nominated Patsy and Ella
    • JoJo Siwa nominated Michael and Jack
    • Ella Rae Wise nominated Jack and Chesney
    • Daley Thompson nominated Michael and JoJo
    • Chris Hughes nominated Michael and Angellica
    • Mickey Rourke nominated Patsy and Michael
    • Donna Preston nominated Jack and Angellica
    • Chesney Hawkes nominates Jack and Donna
    • Patsy Palmer nominates Jack and Michael
    • Danny Beard nominated Jack and Chesney
  • Housemates nominate Jack P Shepherd for eviction

Jack faced the harshest criticism from his co-stars during the first round of nominations.

He was picked by comic Donna Preston for wearing too much aftershave, and by Towie star Ella Rae Wise for having "a game plan".

EastEnders star Patsy Palmer accused him of "looking like The Joker" in the dark and said it terrified her.

Trisha Goddard chose Jack because he behaved like "a snake" - saying he sits quietly before "biting" - while Danny Beard said the actor told jokes to offend rather than get a laugh.

With the show continuing tonight, here’s a reminder of tonight’s 13 housemates - and a brief introduction to each if you're just joining us:

    • Mickey Rourke – Hollywood hellraiser (currently on a yellow card for "pervy" behaviour
    • JoJo Siwa – US pop star turned influencer
    • Patsy Palmer – EastEnders' Bianca
    • Ella Rae Wise – TV personality
    • Trisha Goddard – broadcasting legend
    • Daley Thompson – Olympic hero
    • Jack P. Shepherd – Corrie actor
    • Chesney Hawkes – the one and only, obviously
    • Michael Fabricant – former MP and him of the hair
    • Donna Preston – comedian and actress
    • Chris Hughes – TV personality
    • Danny Beard – drag artist
    • Angellica Bell – former Cbeebies presenter
  • Meet the housemates – Chesney Hawkes

Nineties pop fans will be excited that Chesney Hawkes is in the Big Brother house, but did you know:

    • He grew up in a rock’n’roll household. His dad, Chip, was a musician; his mum, Carol [Dilworth], was an actress and gameshow hostess. He says: "They were glamorous. They had famous friends. Our house was always party central."
    • He once said that growing up with guitars propped in every corner and a little recording studio in the house meant that "my brother, sister and I were never going to become accountants".
    • He admits to being "quite a precocious kid. I never had any other aspirations other than music, so I slightly rebelled at school. I wish I’d paid more attention. I left at 15 and learned my craft by playing pianos in pubs."
  • Ella split with Dan Edgar ahead of CBB

Essex beauty Ella finally called time on her rocky relationship with co-star Dan Edgar as she prepared to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.

She told The Sun: “We are not together. And it's really, really sad that we're not together. We split up a week ago.

“It has nothing to do with Big Brother. It was a decision that I had to make because I didn't feel that we were getting things that we wanted out of each other.

“We can be best friends, but if something's missing, what are we wasting our time for?

“I just feel that he's very set in his ways and I can't change someone and I can't expect someone to change either.

“And if he's comfortable in how he is and if he thinks what he gives in a relationship is enough, that's okay because that can be enough for someone.

“But it's just not enough for me."

  • Watch: Mickey Rourke 'weight shames' Donna Preston

Mickey Rourke is in trouble again after "weight shaming" Celebrity Big Brother housemate Donna Preston.

Hours after he got a formal warning for upsetting JoJo Siwa by using a homophobic slur, The Wrestler star left Donna stunned when he made a strange remark in the bedroom.

  • What's happened so far

With episode four on our screens tonight at 9pm, here is a recap of what's happened since launch night on Monday:

    • Mickey Rourke faces a real chance of being kicked out at the first formal eviction on Friday – if not before – following his behaviour against fellow housemates JoJo Siwa (homophobic slur), Donna Preston ('weight shaming') and not forgetting his "pervy behaviour" towards host AJ Odudu even before entering the house.
    • Michael Fabricant has opened up about his sexuality to Jojo and Danny Beard.
    • Trisha Goddard – who is living with stage four cancer – has been given her own bedroom.
    • Mickey Rourke snores ... like a steam train.
    • Ella Rae Wise broke down in tears after she opened up about her split from Dan Edgar in emotional scene.
    • Ella and Chris Hughes were spotted flirting just minutes after arriving in the house before sharing a hot tub.
  • Mickey in trouble again as he clashes with bosses

During tonight's show, the housemates will gather in the living room to cast their vote on who they want to leave the house but Mickey will be reprimanded over his remarks.

In another rule break, Mickey says to Big Brother: “I choose not to evict anyone.

"I refuse to do that. I will not pick two people to toss off the shelf.”

Big Brother then once again reminds Mickey of the rules.

  • That's all for tonight!

Thanks for following along with our live blog tonight - what an episode!

AJ Odudu is standing by on ITV2 with Celebrity Big Brother: Late and Live and the live stream kicks off at 11pm on ITVX.

    Night night!

  • The vote is open!

Head to the Big Brother app now to vote to SAVE your favourite housemate.

You can pick from JACK, MICHAEL OR MICKEY.

Voting will close during Celebrity Big Brother's live eviction show on Friday night with AJ Odudu and Will Best.

  • Michael is upset at facing eviction

Danny is comforting him, telling him all he's been is himself.

Michael says perhaps he was 'too much' himself in the house.

Danny told him: "It's a pleasure to get to know you away from the politics side of things."

  • Your reactions to the nominations result

One CBB fan said: "I don’t particularly wanna vote for any of them to stay really."

A second wrote: "Poor Jack. The reasons the other housemates are giving though… 'I’m voting Jack because he looks like The Joker'."

"Fair play Trisha for not getting a single nomination," said a third.

  • The results are in!

Michael, Jack and Mickey face the first Celebrity Big Brother live eviction!

Jack received eight nominations from Angellica, Chesney, Danny, Donna, Ella, JoJo, Patsy and Trisha.

Meanwhile, Michael received seven nominations from Angellica, Chris, Daley, JoJo, Mickey, Patsy and Trisha.

Mickey had previously received a killer nomination from JoJo.

Trisha was the only housemate to note receive a nomination. The lines will open at 10pm.

  • The nominations continue...

Donna has chosen to nominate Jack for 'going overboard on the aftershave' and Angellica because she 'felt deflated' they wore the same pyjamas.

Chesney has chosen Jack because he's 'quite standoff-ish' and Donna because her missing her own family is reminding him of his.

Patsy has nominated Jack because he 'looked like the Joker' when she woke up beside him and she fears she could have nightmares. Her second choice is Michael because she feels he 'ignores her'.

Danny has picked Jack over his jokes and says how he 'enjoys messing with people's minds' and Chesney as he's not as close with the hitmaker.

Finally, Trisha has nominated Michael over his 'overwhelming stories' that leave her 'for dead'. Her second nomination is Jack - because of his dark sense of humour.

  • Mickey refuses to nominate

In the diary room, he tells Big Brother: "I chose not evict anyone, I chose not to do that.

"You could come in her and put a gun up my ass, I would not pick."

He added: "It's against my principles as a man."

Big Brother has reminded him of the rules he agreed to adhere to when he entered - and Mickey has now chosen to nominate Patsy.

His second nomination is Michael, because the former MP is involved with politics which he 'doesn't find truthful or honest'.

  • Daley is next in the chair

He's nominated Michael because he is too 'loud' for him.

Daley has chosen Jojo next, admitting they've not spoken and interacted much since launch night.

  • Love Island's Chris is next...

Michael is first on his list, for using 'words that were left in the past' that makes him uncomfortable at times.

Angellica is next as the pair haven't spoken properly since launch night.

  • Jack nominates...

Danny as he walked into one of his 'farts' in the kitchen and it was 'disgusting' and 'stank'.

His second nomination is for comedian Donna for talking to Danny at night, as he admitted her laughter travels to his side of the room.

  • Jojo is next

She's nominated Michael for placing his feet on the furniture.

Her second choice is Jack, as she notes he keeps to himself and doesn't offer to help out.

  • Michael picks...

The former MP has nominated Patsy over her questioning why he wears a wig - admitting he doesn't like his hair being raised in conversation as it's his 'sensitivity'.

His nomination is Ella - as she's the one he's least spoken to in the spy house.

  • Angellica nominations

The former CBBC star has chosen to nominate Michael as he 'doesn't know anything about me'. She said it's made her feel 'invisible'.

Choosing Jack as her second choice, she explained: "I'd like to call him the observer because he likes to sit back and not get involved in something."

  • Nominations time!

Mickey has tried his best impression of Big Brother as nominations officially kick off.

As the housemates were gathered, they were told Chris is immune from the first eviction.

The guardian angel powered was used on Daley, and he is therefore safe too.

However, Jojo's killer nomination power has also been revealed and Mickey automatically faces eviction.

  • Your reactions

As ever, Celebrity Big Brother fans have flooded social media with their take on tonight's scenes.

One posted: "Mickey is either deep, offensive or asleep.. nothing less or more."

A second wrote: "Patsy is just so beautiful."

"I'm sorry but how on earth can he have insomnia?! All he's been doing is sleeping, I do kind of feel bad for him though after his thing about having no confidence," said a third.

  • Trisha and Donna talk cancer

"It's my new normal," said Trisha about her breast cancer.

She continued: "My cancer count has come down and down and down, this new drug is working.

Detailing her side affects, she added: "This is the most vicious drug to take."

Donna then revealed: "My sister has breast cancer and seeing her the past year what she's gone through I really appreciate my body."
