A WOMAN who booked in for composite bonding along with her friend has revealed there are some side effects she wishes she knew about before getting it done.
Charlotte explained that while she loves her teeth now, it took some time to get used to them.
In fact, she had something of an "identity crisis" after seeing her new look for the first time.
In a slideshow of pictures on TikTok, she shared the "things I wish someone told me before I got composite bonding".
Firstly, that she would "have an identity crisis when you see yourself and probably hate them at first".
The reason she faltered is because she felt like she'd "lost all" of her uniqueness - although she did admit that the feeling "soon passes".

"Say goodbye to coffee, curries, red wine - well basically anything that will stain your teeth!" Charlotte wrote over the third picture.
"Joking but you will be super conscious of them staining - get ready to drink your coffee through a straw."
Charlotte also warned that the "bright white look" fades "so quickly", and they "feel yellow after a week (they're not, you just miss that initial white look)".
While getting new teeth can "make your lips appear bigger".
Charlotte added it's a "win" for her, but explained that as the teeth are "bulkier" than before, they make the lip protrude more.
Another side effect after the procedure was that she ended up losing weight, because she was "so scared to chomp down on anything in the worry you'll chip your teeth".
However, concluding her post, Charlotte added on the last slide: "In all seriousness, you'll absolutely love them and you'll feel so much more confident."
And lots of people in the comments section admitted they felt the same after getting their teeth done.
"I hated mine when I got them done," one wrote.
"I felt like they looked massive and I couldn’t speak.
"I love them now. I didn’t go bright white I wanted natural."
"This is all so accurate!" another admitted.
"Had a panic attack when i first saw mine," a third laughed, adding: "Love them now!"

"Hahah, I went and cried in the toilet," Charlotte replied.
"Turns out it’s a pretty universal experience!"
