‘That’s extortionate’ fume chocolate fans as they spot gigantic Kinder Egg in shops – it’s 16 TIMES bigger than normal

CHOCOLATE lovers have been left divided over a gigantic Kinder Egg released just in time for Easter - and it's 16 times bigger than the normal treat.

Twin brothers Kevin and Kieran D’Arcy, from Glasgow, were in Costco when they spotted the 320g "maxi" Kinder Egg on shelves.

And while they were delighted to snap up a supersized version of their favourite snack, they were stunned by the £18 price tag.

Speaking in a TikTok video (@thedarcytwins), they said: "Believe it or not, gigantic Kinder Eggs do exist and you can pick them up in Costco for a modest price of £18.

"We know that is extortionate but I mean come on, look at it."

They added: "We were so excited for this because Kinder Egg chocolate is elite.

"We hate the fact that the regular ones only come with a wee skittery bit of chocolate.

"Whereas this bad boy comes with plenty of chocolate for you to eat.

"Just look at the size of that. It makes the regular one look even tinier.

"You cannot beat Kinder Egg chocolate and yes, it does taste a lot better than the Kinder Bars. Don't come at us."

And it's not just the chocolate that's been supersized, the toy inside is bigger too with the Darcy twins claiming it is "like a full scale action figure".

Sharing the find with their 87,000 followers, the duo asked: "Is this the biggest Kinder Egg in the world?!

"How cool is this! You can get it in the UK for Easter."

The brothers' clip has racked up more than 30,000 views since it was posted on Tuesday, and chocolate fans are loving it.

"Omfg, I’m going now", said one.

A second added: "Gonna get one for the boys."

Another mum gushed: "I'll get serious brownie points from my boy for that. Yes he's 19 but I'm 'that' mom."

Meanwhile a fourth simply wrote: "Gimme."

Others, however, have been put off by the price.

"They're in Co-op for £12 lol", claimed one.

And another revealed: "Woolworths used to sell them back in the day."
