Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid forced to apologise live on-air and ask ‘is everyone OK?’ after backstage accident
GOOD Morning Britain anchor Susanna Reid was forced to apologise after a huge backstage mishap disrupted the live show.
The ITV presenter halted her interview with telly presenter Ben Fogle, 50, after a dramatic bang could clearly be heard on-camera during Thursday's episode.
After the noise caused havoc in the broadcast Susanna said: "My goodness, sorry!
"Is everyone OK?"
After co-host Ben Shephard suggested Andi Peters was to blame, she then joked: "That will be the vodka."
She was referring to an earlier segment on Good Morning Britain where Andi slipped vodka into Ben's cocktail - despite the fact he was taking part in Dry January.

Earlier this week, Susanna told the show why she had quit booze six years ago.
She explained on GMB: "I gave up drinking because a doctor said you should try giving up drinking... for the sake of your skin, and I think sometimes if you've got a different motivator other than 'I'd just like to give up drinking'.
"He said it can make you look very flushed and I was getting all sorts of breakouts as a result of drinking. Of course, if you to say to someone we're going to cure your skin by giving up alcohol, that's a proper motivator.
"And then after I'd given up, if I had just one I would instantly see it on my face. It was a big demotivator for drinking."
Her words came after she was rushed to hospital after having eight coffees a day.
The broadcaster said she drank large amounts of coffee to help her cope with her 3:45am alarm - yet this prompted medical attention.
The mum of three said: “The doctor was quite surprised that I don’t drink more water and that I drink quite a lot of coffee, so I have tried to cut down a bit.
"One morning we worked out that I had eight coffees. But I don’t drink the whole cup – I have a few sips. But I now try to intersperse it with ginger tea.”
