Организаторы Develop:Star Awards 2025 огласили список финалистов премии. Первое место по числу потенциальных статуэток заняла Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, которая вышла в конце 2024-го и не успела заскочить в наградной сезон того года. Творение MachineGames претендует в том числе на главный приз церемонии.

В 2025 году ответственные за Develop:Star Awards ввели несколько новых категорий — «Лучший маркетинг», «Лучшие инициативы по равенству и разнообразию» и «Лучшая доступность», в которой чествуют тайтлы с самыми полезными и обширными опциями доступности.
Получателем специальной награды The Develop Star Award в этом году станет Сэм Лейк (Sam Lake), сценарист и творческий руководитель Remedy Entertainment. В рамках Develop:Star Awards 2024 ему уже вручили статуэтку в категории «Лучший креативный лидер». Также Лейк не так давно получил награду «Легенда» имени Эндрю Юна (Andrew Yoon) на New York Game Awards.
Победителей Develop:Star Awards 2025 определит голосование среди представителей индустрии, которое завершится 30 мая. Церемония вручения наград состоится 9 июля в рамках конференции Develop:Brighton.
