There are plenty of wardrobe essentials to choose from, including midi jumper dresses, day-to-night dresses and accessories.

Lincoln's Primark shared a video on its TikTok account @primark_lincoln with some of the new pieces in its store.

The video was captioned: "Cosy season we are so ready for you."

It seems one of the biggest trends for the upcoming seasons is neutrals.

There was a cardigan in a stone colour, followed by a tan knit t-shirt and cream wide leg jeans.

A light grey midi knit dress was shown, which had been accessorised with a brown belt and matching handbag.

There was also a brown and black striped knit midi dress, as well as several pairs of boots with chunky socks.

Shoppers can also choose from plenty of knits that are perfect for a work wardrobe.

Also returning are the fleeced-lined or 'plush' leggings.

Whether you’re looking to brave the chilly outdoor or simply want to snuggle up indoors, these leggings are the ultimate combination of comfort, style and warmth!

Designed to fit like a second skin, these leggings are crafted with an elasticated waist and a velvet plush inner lining that aims to provide insulation and keep you comfortably warm in the coolest temperatures.

One pair of the High-Rise Plush Lined Leggings are £7.

Over the Primark's official Instagram account, they shared a few photos from some new stock in store.

The post was captioned: "Timeless staples that you'll want to wear, re-style and wear again. Prices from £4."

The Primark Edit showcased four dress, in the colours khaki, stone, brown and gold.

They were short-sleeved, ruched and midi length.

Shoppers in the comments section were divided over the new autumn/winter colour palette though.

One said: "Muted Autumnal neutrals, lovely and a nice break from Greggs and Disney."

A second wrote: "Classy and timeless - those are actually lovely. Hardly ever go to Primark anymore but might have to check it out again."

"Love the brown skirt," a comment read.

One shopper said: "I think it’s good collection perfect for those who like monochrome or those who like to pair it with bright colours"

But someone was not happy: "Im sooooo bored of beige!!! Give me pastels!! Give me non disney collabs like Care Bears and strawberry shortcake and my little pony and rainbow brite!!!"

Another chimed: "That looks depressing..." And someone else agreed: "It's giving 1929 depression."

There were also plenty of candles to choose from - some of which were Halloween themed.

As well as a rose-gold mirrored pumpkin decoration and autumnal wreaths.

What are the key a/w24 trends?

Blush pink - From sugary pastel shades through to dusty blush, pink will be much more wearable this autumn/winter.

Trench coats - Whilst the trench is a timeless wardrobe staple all year round, now it’s a safe classic rather than a spotlight piece.

New suiting - The ‘quiet luxury’ trend has evolved into wearable workwear, and autumn/winter is full of the cooler ways to do suits – think relaxed blazers and wide-leg trousers, as well as the rise of more feminine skirt co-ords.

Block black - Valentino set the trend with an entirely black catwalk set, and monochrome never really goes out of fashion.

'70s boho - Chanel showcased shearling and Dior debuted double denim, the 70s are back. Look for chiffon blouses and flowing boho dress which you can layer with a roll neck, wear with over-the-knee boots and finish with a trench coat.

Leopard print - Whether you disagree or not with "leopard print is a neutral", it's taking over this season from leopard print denim trousers, mini skirts, full on dresses and blouses. The print is versatile and fun.
