In a recent Instagram post, she revealed the £5 foundation she loves to blend into her complexion for a your-skin-but-better effect.

“My husband said I needed to smile more in my pictures so here goes,” the mum-of-two penned in the caption.

“I wanted y’all to really get a close look at my almost 69-year-old skin in this foundation.

“This is the Catrice Nude Drop Tinted Serum Foundation.”

The feather-light product, formulated with a liquid serum texture, is currently on sale for just £5 with beauty e-retailer Notino.

It costs £7.49 full-price, and can be purchased on the Catrice website.

“It makes your skin look better than what it really is,” Melissa, from Tennessee, US, continued.

“It really is superior to many foundations costing five times the cost of this one.

“Seriously, for the cost, it would be a shame not to try it.”

Fans of the beauty influencer were quick to comment that she is “reverse ageing” and her skin “looks like porcelain”.

People think I've had Botox but I just 'skincared' my way to aging backwards - mist, mist, mist to erase fine lines

Catrice bosses affirmed that the bargain foundation “has a highly fluid, weightless and breathable formula”.

“It contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to provide 24-hour hydration,” they said.

“The specially coated pigments ensure long-lasting hold and a buildable, light to medium coverage for a radiant complexion with a natural matte finish.

“The formula is fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin.”

Earlier this year, anti-ageing whizz Melissa shared the most controversial skincare hack she has.

She hasn’t moisturised “in this century” after training her skin to hydrate itself without lotions and potions.

She revealed that people who disagree with the habit tell her that she’s “absolutely wrong” for it.

Melissa is set to turn 69 in April and is the proud mum of two children and seven grandchildren.
