Omar Berrada has joined Man Utd from Man City as their new CEO.
Berrada takes over from United's interim CEO Patrick Stewart - who had been in the role since Richard Arnold's exit.
He spent 13 successful years at City as their Chief Football Operations Officer, working closely with director of football Txiki Begiristain on transfers and contracts.
It was also during last season that City announced record-breaking profits and revenues.
Man Utd have been warned they will have to pay a premium to sign Kyle Walker-Peters.
His manager Russell Martin revealed: “I spoke to Kyle. I also know his agent really well.
"There’s been no conversation at all about him wanting to leave. He’s in such a good place. I think he’s enjoying himself. It would take a lot of money to prise him away."
Former Man Utd star Dwight Yorke believes the Red Devils should sell flop Antony.
He told Football Accumulators: "There are always going to be question marks when you sign a player for that much, especially when they're playing for a club like Man United. Players like Antony will understand they're not performing as they should. It's tough for him and I feel for him, but it's both his and the club's responsibility if things don't work out.
"The club has to move these players on as quickly as possible or else they'll find themselves in the same position every year - having average players signed to long contracts and not contributing what we expect of them."
Borussia Dortmund striker Nicklas Fullkrug has spoken more about Jadon Sancho's penalty snub on Saturday.
"Of course, [Sancho] wanted to take it," Fullkrug said.
"He wants his first goal and believe me: it will come. But we have a ranking. Even had Emre [Can] and Marco [Reus] been on, I'd have been up there! It wasn't my first pen."
Manchester City can confirm Omar Berrada has resigned from his role as chief football operations officer at City Football Group. The club understands his decision to look for a new challenge and he leaves with our thanks and best wishes."
Man Utd are set to appoint Man City's Omar Berrada as their new CEO, according to reports.
The Athletic's David Ornstein took to X to reveal the news on Saturday night.
He wrote: "Led by INEOS with Glazer backing. Will take exec leadership of football + business, seat on board + report to owners. Highly regarded & many will see as major coup."
Erik ten Hag is eyeing a move for another of his old Ajax players, according to reports.
The Manchester United boss, 53, has already signed Lisandro Martinez and Antony from the Dutch giants, while he also brought in keeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan - who played under him in the Eredivisie.
Now he is being linked with a move for striker Brian Brobbey after the Netherlands international's impressive first half of the season.
Brobbey, 21, has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances.
According to Sky Sports, Ten Hag wants to bring the Dutch forward in during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils boss is understood to have been in contact with the player since the summer when the possibility of a move was first floated.
Thomas Tuchel has dealt a blow to Manchester United's hopes of signing Matthijs de Ligt.
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a summer move for the Dutch defender.
However, Tuchel has now addressed the rumours, explaining: "We’re planning with Matthijs, top player and top guy.
"Matthijs came back injured from the national team, missed all preseason. We played him too early in the Supercup, then he got seriously injured again."
