‘It’s the worst I have ever seen’, shocked local reveal after entire car found buried in garden under rubbish & bushes

AN ENTIRE car has been found dumped in the back garden of a house dubbed the "worst" in 20 years.

Sitting in Ramsgate, Kent, the five-storey house has gone up for sale for £350,000, but auctioneers could not believe the state that the Grade II listed property was left in.

In one of the 14 rooms, a stained ceiling is caving in and there is a mountain of rubbish and plastic bags.

Pizza boxes, an old Christmas tree and abandoned washing hung up to dry can also be spotted in the mess.

A second room of the building - which has stunning sea views - has broken furniture and masonry piled up on each other. Another room has more discarded waste with a picture frame on top.

A dirty old mattress is blocking the stairs and there are piles of old food containers and a VHS video tape on show.

In the backyard, a car with a cracked windscreen is hidden under shrubs. It is so buried it is impossible to work out the make or model.

The five-storey, mid-terrace property has been owned by the same family for over 60 years, and is being sold at auction by Taylor James Auctions.

Auctioneer Russell Taylor said: “In my 20-plus years. It's the worst I have ever seen.

“There is even a car buried in the back garden.”

The auction takes place on 31 January and the guide price is £350,000.

The property listing reads: “By Order of the Executors.

“First time on the market for 60+ years, a unique Grade II Listed, five storey, 19 room, mid terrace building located in an unrivalled position with uninterrupted sea views and a short distance from the town centre.

“The property is suitable for a variety of uses and would be suitable for conversion into either flats, house of multiple occupation, family dwelling or guesthouse, subject to all usual consents.”

On the lower ground floor, there are two kitchens and a former communal dining room.

There are four bedrooms on the ground floor and four more and a toilet on the first floor.

The second floor has four more rooms, a bathroom and another WC, with two more bedrooms and two storage rooms on the top storey.
There is a rear-walled courtyard garden at the back.

This comes after it was reported that one of the UK's "most remote" homes has been put up for sale for an eye-watering £400,000.

Nestled close to Ingleborough - which is the second highest of the Yorkshire Dales 'three peaks' - the property was built four centuries ago.

The cutely named four-bedroom farmhouse, Crina Bottom, even comes with its own little side hustle - pocketing £1,400 profit each year due to having its own wind turbine.
