Stunning woman who ignored her patch test turns into ‘Vernon Dursley’ with terrifying hair dye allergy
HANDS up if you've ever dyed your hair without doing a patch test first?
Well, if the answer is 'no,' then you may want to reconsider in the future...because a woman has issued a stark warning after having a severe reaction to the hair dye she used.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@babyypeaa), the beauty fan named Penelope shared a before and after photo of what she looked like - and it's fair to say she looks totally unrecognisable.
And with a face so swollen, it's little wonder she's been compared to Vernon Dursley from Harry Potter - an English Muggle, who is husband of Petunia Evans and father of Dudley and uncle of Harry Potter by marriage.
Before attempting the botched DIY job, the brunette beauty can be seen wearing her long brown hair loose with her skin totally glowing.
"Stop looking at me...," she writes.

Following up the sentence in the next slide, Penelope says: "With those eyes."
Sharing the after photo, her right eyes appears completely swollen and sunken into her face, with the skin under her eyes having almost doubled in size.
Addressing her social media followers, she captioned the post: "PSA to always do your patch test lol."
The post quickly went viral, garnering a whopping 207k views and hundreds of comments, with many left horrified by the revelation.
"Omg I have never patch tested my hair dye! They should really come with patch tests in the box!!! Then you don’t have to mix it all just ti patch test," wrote one.
A second joked: "Are you winking at me?"
"Can I use this to show my salon clients that tell me they don’t need a patch test? This would teach em!" a third asked.
Penelope replied: "Haha yes!! I have worse pics too if they really need a scare."
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Ohhh I’m soo sorrryyy what happened."
"WAIT PARDON?!!!!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!" said another.
And one more chimed in: "Girl, this is how I looked after my nose job and it’s botched!! I need to do revision and I’m so scared to be this swollen again."
