US secretary of state and Britain’s foreign secretary in Kyiv to meet Ukrainian leaders – Europe live

The US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, and the British foreign secretary, David Lammy, have arrived in Kyiv today for talks with Ukrainian leaders.

Ukraine has been pushing its partners to speed up assistance and to allow Kyiv to use long-range weapons deep inside Russia.

Ahead of the trip, Blinken and Lammy raised concerns about Russia receiving ballistic missiles from Iran,.

“Iran’s provision of ballistic missiles in direct support of Russia’s war against Ukraine is a threat to European and global security,” Blinken said.
