Two arrested after ‘heist’ at jewellers which saw watch dealer, 27, put in chokehold days before he ‘took his own life’
COPS have arrested two people after a horror heist at a jewellers saw a traumatised watch dealer "take his own life" just 24 hours later.
Oliver White, 27, was put in a chokehold during the incident in Richmond, South West London, on Saturday afternoon.
The men, who were not armed, entered the shop on Kew Road and assaulted Oliver before stealing a quantity of high value watches.
Oliver was not seriously injured in the attack but was sadly found dead at a location in Surrey the following day.
Two arrests have since been made in connection with the robbery, cops confirmed today.
The Metropolitan Police said that a woman, aged in her 30s, has been released under investigation.

A man, also aged in his 30s was arrested yesterday and has bailed pending further enquiries.
In a statement, Oliver's loved ones said: "Sadly, it is our belief that Oliver subsequently took his own life due to the anguish and distress of this terrible incident."
He was described by his family as a "beautiful, funny, loyal boy".
Oliver's death is not being treated as suspicious but is being investigated by Surrey Police, who are supporting the victim’s family.
Cops are still looking for two men involved and have urged anyone who recognises them to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Mather, from the Met’s Flying Squad , said: “First and foremost, our thoughts remain with Mr White’s family and friends at this unimaginably difficult time.
"We would ask that they are given the privacy they need to grieve.
“We are working tirelessly to get them the answers they need and are making good progress with our investigation.
"We urge anyone who has information that could assist us to get in touch as soon as possible.
