West Ham vs Man Utd LIVE SCORE: Premier League latest with Chelsea vs Newcastle and Palace vs Tottenham also in action

  • Home win?

Alan Shearer recknos Man Utd's 'unpredictability' makes it hard to side with them at the London Stadium.

He told Betfair: "This is tough to predict because of the unpredictability of Man United. Can they kick on and get another result like last weekend? I suspect not. The pressure may be right back on them this weekend.

"West Ham, with the atmosphere at the London Stadium may have enough to take the points on Sunday just as they did in their last home game against Manchester United last season.

"I am going to pick West Ham to win."

  • Welcome to SunSport’s coverage of West Ham vs Manchester United

Two of the Premier League's more inconsistent clubs go head-to-head on today as West Ham host Manchester United - and SunSport will have the entire coverage!

Neither has enjoyed a particularly profitable start to the 2024-25 campaign with both sitting in the bottom half of the division.

West Ham are 15th with eight points from a possible 24 having lost four of their opening eight league matches.

The Hammers looked to have got things back on track when thumping Ipswich Town 4-1 at the London Stadium, but followed that with a chastening 4-1 away defeat to rivals Tottenham.

The last time they won back-to-back home matches in the Premier League was in December 2023, with the second of those victories coming against Manchester United.

Clean sheets is something of an issue for Julen Lopetegui's side.

Excluding promoted and relegated sides, no team have kept fewer clean sheets than West Ham in the Premier League since the start of 2024.

That said, West Ham have won their last two Premier League home games against Erik ten Hag's side with clean sheets in both.

Clean sheets haven't been a problem for the visitors - away from Old Trafford at least. Manchester United have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three away games in the Premier League.

They'll need to be at their best to continue that run given they've not kept West Ham out in their last four games, and have a quick turnaround after Thursday's trip to Istanbul.

They'll also need to improve their record when travelling to the capital. United have only won two of their last 17 Premier League matches in London (D5 L10), with both of those games coming against Fulham.
