‘This is heartbreaking’ Love Island fans slam ‘manipulative’ Ayo as he ditches Mimii in savage recoupling
LOVE Island viewers were left heartbroken after Ayo chose to couple with Casa Amor girl Jessica.
It meant Mimii was left single due to her holding out for a reunion with Ayo which, unfortunately for her, didn't happen.
Mimii was the final girl to return to the original villa and looked stunning in a white dress.
But there was to be no happy ending for her as she was greeted by sad faces from co-stars who knew what was coming.
She reacted with dignity, simply saying, "it is what it is."
When host Maya Jama asked Ayo if he had anything to say, he responded: "Not now. I don’t think it’s the time."

Afterwards Ayo cut a solemn figure, no doubt guilty at upsetting Mimii.
He was comforted by Jessica, who reassured him it would all work out OK.
There is no denying the pair's chemistry, with their Casa co-stars unanimously ranking them as the couple with the strongest connection.
Ruby Dale said in her exit chat: "Jess and Ayo, from the get go it was so natural. They couldn’t seem to keep their eyes off each other, they were amazing together."
Lucy Graybill said: "Definitely Ayo and Jessica, they were inseparable! She was so happy I could tell the spark was there right away with them."
But viewers were still devastated for Mimii and didn't like how Ayo had conducted himself, particularly how he asked Mimii if she was going to drop him for good despite him ditching her.
One said on X: "I can't stand men like ayo !! he really tried to gaslight a mental health trained specialist?"
Another shared: "I hate Ayo so much after tonight!"
A third posted: "Ayo is so manipulative wtf."
A fourth said: "Mimii walking in alone is heartbreaking. She deserves SO much better than how Ayo has treated her."
