I’m fat & people constantly tell me I’ll die before I’m 30 – even worse, my crushes pretend they don’t know me in public
A WOMAN has opened up about what it’s really like to be plus-size.
From people telling her she’ll die before the age of 30 and her crushes acting disgusted when they see her in public, Destiny Ann Murtaugh, a plus-size woman from Canada, revealed all about life as a ‘fat’ person.
The content creator, who even has her own podcast called Shut the Fork Up, took to social media to explain things she commonly hears as a curvy woman.
As she put her make-up on, she said: “I’m fat. I'm gonna go to the mall with you and not be able to shop in a single store in the entire mall.
“I'm fat. He's gonna like me in private and then pretend to absolutely not know me, or act completely disgusted in front of his friends.
“I’m fat. People are gonna offer me unsolicited health advice and tell me that I'm gonna die before I'm 30, all the time.

“I'm fat. I'm gonna question if a guy actually likes me or if this is just a set-up or a dare by his friends.”
Not only this, but Destiny also explained that she is often ignored by men and can’t stand eating in public, as she added: “I'm fat. I'm gonna go to the bar with my skinny friends and be absolutely ignored, or only talk to them because they want me to talk to my skinny friend on their behalf.
“I'm fat. I'm gonna have anxiety when I'm eating in public.”
But that’s not all, not only does Destiny use a fan at all times, but she also always uses chub rub cream too.
She concluded: “I'm fat. I am always going to be hot and my fan is gonna be on, even in the dead of winter.
“I'm fat. I am always going to have an anti chub rub solution in my bag.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @itsyourdest, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 545,300 views.
Many social media users could relate to Destiny's claims and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Ouch...these hit hard.”
Another added: “So relatable…”
A third commented: “I experienced all of these.”
Whilst someone else simply wrote: “Same.”
However, not everyone was as kind, as one user penned: "Then don’t be fat, I don’t get it.
"If you don’t like what u see in the mirror, change the reflection. It’s so simple."
