We’re a throuple – when just 2 of us go on dates we still text our ‘sidepiece,’ only a furry issue makes us jealous
A THROUPLE has left many people surprised after revealing that they rarely get jealous in their three-way relationship.
One-third of the trio shared their living arrangements and romantic date nights after years of being together.
Janie (@janiecfrank) has garnered over 507,000 followers on TikTok, where she gives a glimpse into her unconventional love life.
She took to the social media platform to share things in their “polyamorous household that just makes sense.”
She gave a tour of their house starting with the kitchen which had two water filters as having just one wasn’t large enough.
“Mugs with our initials on them because there’s three of us and you can never find a his and hers and hers thing,” she said.
“Three cat carriers because we have to have three cats.
"The only thing we get jealous over is who is getting more cat attention.”
Janie continued to list necessities in their home as she walked through to other rooms.
“Not one but two beds because we don’t do well sleeping all together every single night,” she said.
“And not one, not two, but three closets because we don’t share space when it comes to our clothing very well.
“And a whole lot of love and support.”
The video came after Janie claimed they don’t experience jealousy in their relationship despite date nights not always involving everyone.
She revealed her girlfriend Maggie sent her and her boyfriend Cody “funny” text messages referring to herself as their "sidepiece" when they were apart.
“First Cody and I said goodbye to Maggie by giving her some snugs,” she said in a vlog.
“Then we packed up the car and we drove down to Atlanta. This is a bit much for a regular date for us but it was a really special day.
“We stopped to get Peruvian food for dinner, it was some of the best food and drinks I’ve ever had in my life.”
Janie said the date was followed by a stay at an Airbnb, where they did things that “couldn’t be shown on camera.”
She got glammed up in a red dress as their getaway continued a day later with coffee and a trip to the aquarium.
“It was a very cool experience. I loved every second of it,” she said.
“My cheeks hurt by the end of it because I couldn’t stop smiling.”
The throuple had brunch together when they were reunited before going home to do “nothing for the rest of the day.”
Janie captioned the post: “People often ask us if the other person gets jealous when 2/ 3 go out but I can confirm Maggie loved her time alone lol.”
She included the hashtags #relationshipgoals, #datenightideas, and #nonmonogamy as she championed polyamory.
Thousands of people watched both videos and took to the comment section to share their opinions.
“The two bed is kinda genius because I feel like three people sounds nice in theory but unless the bed is giant there’s no way that’s comfy all night,” one person wrote.

“I feel like no one should have to share closet space no matter how much you love each other,” another said.
“You look so extraordinarily happy in every picture, love this!” a third added.
