I thrifted all the outfits for my sister’s wedding – my mom’s was only $5 and I got my bridesmaid dress too
SPLASHING out hundreds of dollars for wedding dress outfits could be an unnecessary expense.
That's according to one woman who found all the outfits for her sister's wedding in thrift shops.
She bagged some amazing bargains, including her mom's number which was only $5.
But Millennial Money Honey (@millennialmoneyhoney) didn't miss out.
She found a gorgeous sumptuous gown for her bridesmaid dress.
This lady, who has 47,000 followers on TikTok, is the queen of thrift shops.
Her platform is packed full of her fantastic, bargain basement buys.
"I thrift stores from all over America. But I mostly thrift in west LA where I live," she said.
“All the secondhand dresses for my sister’s wedding," she said in her post.
Her mom and sister were the lucky ones - she found them some stylish, good-as-new items.
“My wedding rehearsal dress," she said, twirling in an ankle-length, black sleeveless, figure-hugging, dress, with a slit up the front.
Next, it was her mom's rehearsal dress. Long and brightly patterned, mom looked delighted with her daughter's choices.
“My sister's wedding rehearsal dress," she said, as her sister posed confidently in the stunning floor-length, midnight blue, sparkly number.
There were some knockout looks from this thrift sore haul.
The bride’s wedding rehearsal dress was super-pretty and feminine, a shapely layered look in white.
“The mother of the bride dress for only $5. Perfect for dancing," she said.
This stylish deep blue gown came with a sparkly top, giving it that extra pizazz.
The bride's reception dress was channelling pure Great Gatsby vibes.
The flapper-style was embellished giving it instant glitz appeal.
“My bridesmaid dress," she said finally, showing off an irresistibly gorgeous gown.
A rich green, in a velvet-look fabric, this off-the-shoulder dress, was destined to be a wedding classic.
“Everyone looked so good in their thrifted dresses," she said.
One commenter wished she had done things differently after seeing her video.
“If I could go back in time I would definitely have done this for my wedding," she wrote.
