I’m mum-shamed for how I dress my daughter – they say her clothes are ‘inappropriate’ and I should ‘let her be a kid’
IF you look back through phots of you as a kid, you’ll probably find some questionable outfits that your mum put you in.
One woman, however, has been ‘mum-shamed’ after sharing what she chose to dress her daughter in – and it’s broken the internet.
Whilst mums will post the odd photo of their little ones online, this US influencer has made an entire Tiktok page dedicated to her daughter.
Having amassing millions of followers online, the pair regularly share snippets of family life as well, her taking part in viral trends.
The family will even ask their grandmother to join in with the pair dressing the little girl in themed outfits for various holidays, including Christmas and Halloween.
Though the head to head challenge is usually a bit of light-hearted fun, their latest video caused a bit of a stir on the app with viewers dubbing it ‘inappropriate’.

Uploaded just in time for Valentine’s Day, it showed the four-year-old dressed in a deep red off the shoulder top with white heart and sheer sleeve.
Completing the look, the proud mum added a pair of chunky white trainers and a black denim skirt the ended just above the knee.
Despite the little girl looking beautiful with her long blonde her and bright blue eyes, the themed outfit would have been far more suitable for someone in their late teens or older.
Meanwhile, grandma dressed the tot in an adorable stripy t-shirt with red and pink glittery hearts stitched on to the front.
Apping up the cute factor, the little girl wore matching red and white tights, bows and a tiered ruffle skirt which the four-year-old seemed to love.
It seems the Tiktok star’s fans were also taken with the second outfit, with many commenting on how happy she looked in the second half of the video.
“She feels so much happier with Grandma's outfit,” gushed one commentor, adding: “You can see it.”
Another agreed, saying: “The 2nd one looks sooo much more comfortable.”
Meanwhile, the mum’s look was met with a fairly underwhelming response with some claiming it was 'inappropriate' for such a young girl.
“Let her be a kiddo…look how happy she is in those ruffles!” pointedly wrote a third, with a fourth fumed: “Grandma knows best and what’s most appropriate.”
It’s not the first time this US influencer has gotten in trouble for her rather grown up outfits, with the mum coming under fire for her daughter's previous outfits over the years.
As the family celebrated Independence Day, the little one appeared on camera with a star and strips crop top – with highly distressed jeans.
Whilst the outfit was definitely on theme for the occasion, many claimed that the little girl looked closer to 21 than two.

It seem that grandma really is older and wiser when it comes to style.
