My bougie on a budget Trader Joe’s gift is perfect for Valentine’s Day – there’s wiggle room on the price too
LOVE might not cost a thing, but gift-giving certainly does.
Luckily, one Trader Joe's fan is sharing her money-saving tips in time for Valentine's Day.
"How to make a stunning bouquet on a budget," said Chandler Isaac (@chandlerisaac).
Her method required picking out your favorite flowers at Trader Joe's.
Once she had her floral finds at home, she tore open the paper bag, removing the bottom and the handles.
Chandler, who had selected pink roses, white carnations, and baby's breath, began putting her arrangement together in her quest for perfecting her bougie on a budget gift.
There was also wiggle room on the price depending on which florals you chose from the store's wide selection.
They sell a variety of flowers at different price points including 3-stem hydrangeas for $5.99 and a dozen roses for $9.99.
"The key is to just do a few layers from the back to the front and spread out the color," she explained.
The final step of her frugal floral hack involved wrapping the flowers in what was left of the bag.
With her mini-masterpiece complete, things were coming up roses for the Trader Joe's fan.
"This little bouquet is perfect for Valentine's Day or to impress in a pinch," she said.
And her fans were certainly in awe over the budget-friendly blooms.
"So pretty!" exclaimed one enthused follower.
"I do this all the time! I made my mom a bouquet for V-day from Trader Joe’s flowers," shared another viewer who was in on the money-saving secret.
"Gah love it!" she replied.

And she had one more tip up her sleeve.
"Tag bae to drop a hint," she advised for those who were going to spend the holiday with their sweetie.
"My boyfriend makes the best arrangements. All flowers from TJ," shared one follower whose significant other already knew about the trend.
