Justin Timberlake hints at *NSYNC reunion on his upcoming album and fans are left ‘freaking out’
JUSTIN Timberlake has nearly confirmed another *NSYNC reunion is on the way.
The singer teased his former bandmates could be joining him on his much anticipated new album.
Justin shared a video on TikTok replying to a fan who asked, "Blink twice if *NSYNC is on a song called Paradise."
The 43-year-old didn't respond with words, but rather his actions, indeed blinking twice.
That sent fans wild in the comments section.
"Well I know what my favorite song on the album will be!" one excited fan shared.
"Screaming, crying, throwing up!" another replied.
"Omg omg omg OMG" a third added with a heart emoji.
"Who’s choppin’ onions?!?" a fourth asked. "You’ve got me all in my feels over here."
TOGETHER AGAIN
Last month, the pop singer talked with Kelly Clarkson, 41, about his career, his new album, and possible new *NSYNC music.
But at the time, RCA Records, which is releasing Justin's upcoming album, downplayed hopes, sharing that only certain *NSYNC members were recording background vocals for Justin's upcoming album.
The compilation, entitled, Everything I Thought I Was, is set to include some of the 90s stars' voices as added harmony but not an actual reunion, TMZ revealed.
The label told the outlet on Wednesday that the Prince of Pop, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick reunited last year to record their single Better Place for the film Trolls Band Together.
While in the studio, the former boy band put together some vocals for Justin's forthcoming album.
TMZ also shared that RCA Records higher-ups are "adamant that when or if NSYNC does make a comeback," it will have to be the pop group's signature sound and not just JT's.
Meaning, that JC Chasez will most likely be singing half of the lead lines alongside Justin, similarly to all of the original NSYNC releases.
WORLD TOUR
The popular 90s boy band recently reunited for a song that was featured in Trollz Band Together titled Better Place.
Speaking with Kelly, the Sexyback singer revealed what it was like getting the band back together: "That was fun. It's crazy. There's so much that picks up where it left off as far as the chemistry."
Justin also dropped by The Tonight Show, to tell host Jimmy Fallon his Forget Tomorrow World Tour would be kicking off soon.
The singer sat across from Jimmy and teased that he would be performing soon.
"Do you have something to announce?" Jimmy asked excitedly.
Justin pretended to not know what Jimmy was talking about and looked around in confusion.
"What is happening right now?" Justin asked while Jimmy continued to pester him about whether he had an announcement.
"Oh that," Justin finally caught on.
"I'm going on tour," he admitted casually and looked out at the crowd.
